Introducing author/artist Carol-Ann Lane (@carolannlaneauthor) who is taking part in the Strings Attached event. Her published works include "A Star in the Distance", "Finding Life in Forty Days", and "Shining Moments in Time" (the first book of a short-story collection series). Her future creative works include future books for the short story collection series, memoirs, and a youth novel series filled with wild adventure across the globe and mystery.

I’m excited to be one of the chosen authors to read at this great event. Come and meet me in person for autographed copies of my books (Short Story Collections, and my Devotional books), some of my selected original Art prints (including Canadian landscapes and florals), and my handcrafted bookmarks! (Autographed book copies, Art prints, and Handcrafted bookmarks are only available for purchase at my in-person events).

'STRINGS ATTACHED' brings two groups of Mississauga creatives together in a unique multi-disciplinary event at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga (UCM).
The two groups are 'Sauga Plein Air Group' (SPAG), and 'Words of Writers' (WOW!)
'STRINGS ATTACHED' alludes to the creative spirit that is the source of all creative endeavours and flows through all forms of art - whether literary, visual, or musical.
Visitors can listen to and interact with authors who will read from their works inside the Great Hall, or watch artists take part in a plein air competition outdoors. Live music performed outdoors by musicians playing the Guzheng (Chinese zither) and the flute, will create a stirring and uplifting atmosphere for artists and visitors to enjoy.

Central Valley Talk is Fresno California's premier internet broadcast TV station which has been broadcasting since 2008, with 3.92K subscribers and almost 1 million views as a regional network in California's Central Valley. The host, Mike Briggs, holds Master's Degrees in History and in Music History and is a retired professor teaching in each of his Master's disciplines. He is also retired as a member of the California State Legislature. He is an avid reader and occasionally reviews books.

Meet author Carol-Ann Lane for an engaging talk about her life and healing books "Finding Life in Forty Days" and the foundational healing book "A Star in the Distance." The author will have both books and a selection of handcrafted bookmarks on hand for purchase.
You don't want to miss this special event. It was approved by the National, Provincial and Toronto Diocese for the CWL (Catholic Women's league). Please note this event is by invitation only.

Find holiday gifts from local artisan, craft, and food vendors, and celebrate the season with festive entertainment! Gift wrapping will also be available by donation with proceeds supporting Epilepsy South Central Ontario (@epilepsy.sco) and food donations will be accepted for Compass Food Bank (@compassfoodbank)!
