Book Launches "Unlocking Little Whispers" & "Turning Point"
Have you ever found yourself following a calm, organized daily life routine, only to find circumstances uprooted your routine upside down? Did you ever find yourself faced with decisions you had to make in a split second that may have rocked the very core of your moral fibre and impact someone else, even a stranger? If you found yourself in these situations, intensified with anxiety, and doubts, would you be able to remain calm and make the right decision? Were you ever faced with a situation, perhaps a lifestyle change which could alter the perspective on life? Sometimes being caught in the spirit of a moment can be very enticing but often times those feelings don’t run deeper than the surface. The drama, the excitement is all real but it can be dangerous if the actions or lifestyle is misguided. In other words, if a decision goes against the grain of your ethical position, your life values, your moral compass, it could destroy your soul. It isn’t easy to face life-changing decisions, perhaps a career, a relationship, or a life event, and make your voice heard. It requires resilience to swim against the wave. It takes honesty and a strong moral compass to resist the easy path and remain firm to your values. It takes courage to walk away from the crowd and remain true to your ethical principles. It can be challenging to take a different path than others and often it involves unforeseeable results that could be life-changing. Taking those steps can further increase anxiety. However, if the decisions are based on ethical principles and guided by a solid moral compass than the outcome will seem less daunting. How does one remain true to their value system and ethical principles when making daily decisions? Some would say it is within the fibre of the character, being true to oneself or to one’s beliefs.
